After Lebron James violated the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols by attending a tequila promotional event earlier this week, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley weighed in on the NBA’s decision not to suspend Los Angeles Lakers superstar.
“The NBA ain’t got the balls to suspend Lebron James. Zero.” Barkley said in a virtual interview with LaJethro Jenkins. Barkley said when he read that, he started laughing.
“The NBA, they ain’t got no chance of suspending Lebron Chance. If it was a nobody, they would put him in health and safety protocols,” he said. “Ain’t no f*cking way LeBron James is going to be sitting out because of health and safety protocols.”
He said when he read that, he started laughing and said: “Lebron James is playing Sunday. Guaaaaranteeed.”
Jenkins said the NBA has two sets of rules — the set that applies to everyone, and the set of rules that applies to James.
James was found to be in breach of the NBA’s health and safety protocols as he was one of several guests present at a promotional event for a tequila brand he backs, OutKick previously reported.
James won’t be suspended “as the nature of the event didn’t rise to a threat level of virus spread.” He also seemingly denied being vaccinated, but the event did require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to attend.
“It’s a violation of the agreed upon protocols, and, as we have in other comparable instances around the league, it has been addressed with the team,” a league spokesman told ESPN on Friday.

Lebron laying out that dangerous tweet regarding the officer (who had no choice but to shoot a girl who was midway through a stabbing with a knife) …. that should have had him:
A) Sued for millions (by the endangered cop)
B) suspended for the season

What is hilarious, LeBron has sunk the league’s ratings, close to being a nothing league today, and yet they are afraid to suspend him. They’d be better off if he went away permanently.

LeBron James, Colin Kaepernick, Bubba Wallace…….all 3 are embarrassments to their race. LeBron is a superstar that feels the need to remind you he’s great….Kaepernick doesn’t really want to play football, he prefers to be a martyr and make money off of that…..Wallace is strictly a quota hire.
