Ex-Tennessee LB To’o To’o Commits to Alabama

Former Tennessee linebacker Henry To’o To’o announced on Twitter he has committed to Alabama after entering the transfer portal in January.

To’oTo’o, a former SEC All-Freshman selection, led Tennessee football in tackles last season. The sophomore will help strengthen the Crimson Tide’s linebacker corps after senior Dylan Moses’ departure to the NFL.

This marks the second straight week that Alabama coach Nick Saban has pulled a potential impact player from the transfer portal, ESPN reports.

Former Ohio State starting wide receiver Jameson Williams announced that he would be going to Alabama.

He will be immediately eligible under a new NCAA policy allowing transfers to change schools once without having to sit out a year of competition, the article states.

To’o To’o, on the other hand, may be sitting out due to an SEC policy which still requires athletes that transfer within the same conference to sit out for one season.

  1. I’d like to once again recognize former athletic director Mike Hamilton for being the catalyst to the complete destruction of this great program 13 years ago. Like a venereal disease, his work continues to leave a lasting legacy at UT to this day. We won’t forget your contribution.
