Dan Patrick has been a source of the Big Ten’s directional plans in recent weeks. He was first to report that the conference presidents and chancellors voted to postpone Fall sports — and thus football — and also had a source in the conference painting a Thanksgiving return as a “very long shot”.
But now, after President Trump and Kevin Warren had a productive phone call, things appear to be shifting again:

Earlier today, President Trump said a return to play was on the “one yard line” while a Big Ten statement was non-committal.
October 10th would be on the very early end — we’ll see if they can figure out the process of the safety procedures and getting the presidents and chancellors to agree to them in order for a return to play at that date.
This would be yuge. Lock up Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan votes!

I would agree with you but she was the incumbent in 2019 and I believe Michigan only allows 2 terms for governor so she doesn’t care. She’s out to pander to the DNC to move up the food chain within that party. Very despicable but as the saying goes as of late in areas like this “you get the government you deserve”. The people of Michigan voted her in and have to accept their fate in regards to how’s that “vote blue no matter who” working out? I feel for Michigan but you brought it on yourself. Especially in regards to Michigan & Minnesota, we are moving from “GET WOKE GO BROKE” to “VOTE LEFT GET THEFT”. I wish it were different, but until the people of these states “wake” up not “woke” up then you get what you deserve.

The 10th of October would prolong the current economic and social stress and provide cover to the liberals running the schools.

Been an Iowa season ticket holder for 41 years and this news would make me very happy but don’t believe the liberal Presidents have the moral courage to make it happen. Congrats to the Iowa, Nebraska and Ohio State leaders though!!
