President Biden Is Finally Visiting East Palestine, One Year After Train Derailment

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the horrific East Palestine, Ohio train derailment that caused dangerous chemicals to shoot up in the air, contaminate the soil, infect the local water, and President Biden still hasn't visited the site yet.

But don't worry, because Biden might actually go this week after having to be formally invited by the town's mayor for the umpteenth time. Hey, maybe he just forgot, okay? The guy is having trouble even remembering how to get off stage - you think he's going to remember something about an Ohio town? Heck, he probably thought every time East Palestine was mentioned that people were talking about the Middle East.

BIDEN WAS TOO BUSY FOR A YEAR TO GO, UNTIL ELECTION TIME

On February 3rd, 2023 a Norfolk Southern train derailed as it released toxic chemicals and gases into the air and subsequent area. In this day of social media, people immediately began to realize that this had all the signs of being catastrophic and also that it was prime for a cover-up as more bad news became known.

Despite telling everyone that things were safe, curiously, just days after the initial wreck the train company and the EPA decided to do what was supposed to be a "controlled release" of the remaining chemicals, which caused even more panic, worry and concern among residents - some of whom still haven't returned to their evacuated homes all this time later.

RESIDENTS ARE STILL SUFFERING HEALTH ISSUES

At the time, President Biden was repeatedly asked for weeks when he would be visiting East Palestine and the blue-collar town that coincidentally had voted Republican and weren't his target demographic.

The Administration gave every excuse under the sun - that the President was too busy, that he would be a distraction if he went, that he would go "in due time." As with all things with the media, eventually other things became more important and the narratives switched and everyone forgot about what happened in Ohio except the people that live there and are still suffering health problems.

It appears the time has finally come because someone reminded Joe that it's an election year and you know what? Now seems like the perfect time to go!

"There are still some lingering health questions and that's why the invitation was put out to him. I didn't have to invite President Trump to come but I felt like I had to send out a personal invasion to President Biden to come so we can get some of this information and some of the lingering health concerns," East Palestine mayor Trent Conaway told Fox News this morning.

Last  year, Mayor Conaway said that it was a "slap in the face" to his town that the President went overseas to visit Ukraine and not Ohio to show support for the American people. 386 days later he still hasn't stepped foot in the area.

DON'T RELY ON BIG GOVERNMENT

Whether it was the EPA lying to us after 9-11 and for decades later when they knew that asbestos and God knows what other cancerous and deadly chemicals were in the air but said the air was fine (which was an absolute lie - just look at all the smoke and use logic) to East Palestine to the incompetent Maui, Hawaii wildfire response, if it's one thing we know for sure it's that government isn't going to bet here for you when you need it - despite how much power and money you give it.

You'll only get a photo op. And that will only come if it's an election year.
