ProFootballDoc: Monday Night Football Preview/Health Analysis: Detroit Vs. Green Bay

A late Chiefs Sunday Night fumble leaves us with a tough day, but a 6-4 five picks record for the season is still in the plus column.

The ball wasn't bouncing in our favor as a long snap hit the hip of the up back and turned into 7 points for the Colts, leaving us short by half a point of a Rams cover. We hope to have better bounces next week.

In the meantime, here comes the Monday Night NFC North matchup. I wonder how many double tall coffees with double shots of espresso the new Lions head coach will have before his first primetime night contest?

GREEN BAY -12.5 vs DETROIT

The SIC score is not terribly lopsided, but the Packers are the healthier side in this divisional matchup. WR Tyrell Williams (concussion) and LT Taylor Decker (finger) are out on offense for the Lions and three others -- including RB D'Andre Swift, who has a groin issue -- are questionable.

Defensively, No. 3 overall pick last year CB Jeff Okudah's season is over with an Achilles rupture. Michael Brockers and Trey Flowers both have shoulder issues and are questionable. Meanwhile, Green Bay misses just LT David Bahktiari and LB Za'Darius Smith.

The Packers are heavily favored already and are wanting to bounce back after they were embarrassed Week 1 versus the Saints. But can they prevent a back door cover?
