Antonio Brown Eyeing NFL Return With AFC North Team

Maybe that shirtless jaunt across MetLife Stadium wasn't the last we'll see of Antonio Brown after all. The free agent receiver is interested in returning the league next fall and is angling for a return to the AFC North, though not with Pittsburgh, the team that drafted him in 2010.

Brown's interested in catching passes from quarterback Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, presumably while wearing a shirt.

"Lamar Jackson is a great quarterback," Brown said during an appearance on I Am Athlete. "Not only him throwing the ball. (Also) the dynamic of him playing, the excitement."

Brown's praise for Jackson began when host Brandon Marshall asked him which QB he'd like to play with next. AB wasted little time singling out the 2019 NFL MVP.

“Lamar Jackson,” said Brown. “Action Jackson. Let's give Lamar Jackson his flowers. Shout out to Lamar Jackson, that's it."

Once a clip of Brown's comments made it's way to social media, Jackson quickly reciprocated the love. Or at least it would appear that way, if retweeting the clip and tagging it with a smiling, purple, horned emoji means anything.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Jackson's in favor of adding Brown to the Ravens' receiving room. Outside of current WR Marquise Brown, the Ravens lack speed in the passing game. And if Antonio Brown's proven anything over his 12-year career, it's that he's fast.

Sometimes, too fast.
