COVID hysteria broke Howard Stern. Not COVID, COVID hysteria.

Stern is nearly 70 years old and works alone in a dark basement with little physical human interaction. This is not hyperbole. He brags to his listeners that he has almost entirely avoided breathing the same air as anyone else for the past two years. It's unclear if plexiglass separates Stern and his wife in bed at night, but out of respect, we won't take a guess.

Stern is not only determined to keep up this way of living until COVID is extinct, he also demands others follow his lead. Over the past few months, Stern has berated Oprah Winfrey for celebrating Christmas and begged the federal government to step in and punish the unvaccinated.

Stern has called for sports leagues to exile anyone who isn't fully vaxxed. On Tuesday, Stern demanded that every tennis organization ban Novak Djokovic, the star player who sought a medical exemption from the vaccine so that he can still participate in the Australian Open without getting vaccinated, for life.

"That fucknut Djokovic," Stern railed. "What a fucking asshole. The first I've heard of this guy is that he doesn't want to get his vaccine. They should throw him right the fuck out of tennis. That's it. Goodbye."

Howard Stern is not well. That behavior is not sane by any account. Critics may say that Stern has contributed to this COVID hysteria -- and he has -- but he's not the cause of it. He's an effect of it. 

Supposed medical experts and dutiful newscasters have turned this once fearless rebel into a frightened rodent wobbling around his house.

How does that happen? How can the same man who lived to stick it to the Man become such a sniveling shill for the establishment and Big Pharma? To understand Stern's state of mind, you must imagine that you have believed everything Dr. Fauci, Joe Biden, the media, and medical experts have told us about COVID and the vaccine. Those like Stern have bought into the lies, they believe that a random Wuhan bat caused this virus that now threatens mankind. Oh, and that a simple, harmless vaccine is the solution to end it all.

"You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations," Joe Biden promised in July.

If you believed that, you've likely convinced yourself that a group of unvaccinated heathens are the ones killing everyone. That's what Stern has done -- and that's why he is the way he is. 

Fauci and Biden have brainwashed Stern into believing that the unvaccinated have derailed his high life, and he is still quite bitter about that. No wonder he is in such a miserable state. Look what all of you unvaccinated bastards have done to him.

And he's not alone. You probably know people whom Fauci, despotic politicians, and media lapdogs have convinced that we will never be safe until everyone complies with their ever-shifting demands.

Naturally, this attempt to demonize the unvaccinated has caused the thrice-vaxxed progressives to see them as less than human. The vaccine-demanders are angry because the stupid, racist, unvaccinated fools won't listen to reason. Meanwhile, the unvaccinated often feel hopeless in the face of relentless public vilification.

COVID is a true divider. The Left first weaponized the virus when our country was most vulnerable. Many were scared in early 2020.

But now, these same Leftists won't let COVID go. Why would they? Rarely do people willingly relinquish power. Politicians and other powerful people like Fauci know they will never have this kind of opportunity to seize control again. Their ability to convince the masses how necessary they are has brought a sizable portion of the American people to their knees. They even turned Howard Stern into the kind of person he spent decades mocking.

"Experts" like Fauci and Biden could ease tensions by telling the truth. They could admit that this is not a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" and tell Pfizer that the American people have not signed up for a lifetime subscription to this vaccine.

But few in power have done that. Instead, they've doubled down on the dangers of Omicron, a variant so mild that those with it often compare it to a small cold. So the power-hungry continue to tell us to shut up and take the jab whenever they give the command.

Ultimately, this movement began with lockdowns. The Right has foolishly presumed the lockdowns were ineffective. They weren't. They may not have been very helpful at slowing the spread of COVID, but they helped initiate the Great Reset. Politicians used lockdowns to convince people that there was no other alternative. It would have to be their new way of life. Lockdown or death, they told us.

Such fear is difficult to let go of. Howard Stern still hasn't let go. After Christmas break, he told his listeners:

"It's getting very confusing to me. I see what's going on with COVID. Everyone's got it. Everyone's sick. People have a 104 fever. I don't want to have a 104 fever, I don't want to get sick, so I'm hiding. But everyone else is out running around. I see Oprah is having dinner parties." 

That's what COVID hysteria has done to Howard Stern. He's still hiding nearly two years after COVID first hit. And there are still tens of thousands, possibly millions like him -- damaged nearly beyond repair about a virus that has dwindled to a cold. 

Howard Stern is a broken man, but hopefully, we can save the others. The healing can begin only once our "leaders" in medicine, politics, and the media start telling us the truth.
