This Week In OutKick:

Leave it to Clay to once again dominate the OutKick news department. Just when it appeared Clay might have a semi-quiet summer a year after battling the coronabros over COVID, the guy up and announces the OutKick radio show on Fox Sports Radio is ending...AND HE'S TAKING OVER THE RUSH LIMBAUGH TIME SLOT...with Buck Sexton starting on June 21. The guy was trending more than news of a Kardashian banging a Lakers power forward. There was a point on Friday when #OutKick was also trending worldwide.

Now I know that doesn't mean much to those of you who've been contacting me the old school way via email -- joekinsey@gmail.com -- because you've left social media behind and this site has become your eyes and ears for the world of sports and whatever else OutKick's staff of bloggers/columnists/writers come up with.

Back to Clay for a minute, Fox Sports Radio posted a video that I think you guys will enjoy that highlights some of the big moments over Clay's six years doing the OutKick show including a bit from the Super Bowl that had Clay speechless. The end of the video is pretty powerful stuff for those of you who jumped on the OutKick train and live and die this site. Listen to how Clay ends this video.

• Sam L., an OutKick VIP, writes:

"For the last few years, I have gotten a proper 'Murica T-Shirt to wear for 4th of July.  It requires some snarky comment (Astronaut telling Houston the we call dibs for the Moon) or a bald eagle firing a machine gun, etc.

"Well, I like the America F***k Yeah graphics the site is using. But I think your photoshopping department can dig deeper and make it more 'Murica.  Aircraft carriers.  Bald eagles blowing up UFOs or a certain Chinese lab.  Chuck Norris round-house kicking Putin. Abe Lincoln dunking over LeFraud James.  ETC.

"And that's the shirt I want to wear for the 4th."

Well, Sam, I'll have you know that I made that 'America F--k Yeah' graphic one day on a very tight deadline from the editorial department. I was under immense pressure to pump out some freedom and that's what I came up with. I love your idea of an OutKick 4th of July shirt and your suggestions are incredible. I have some much-needed vacation time coming up so once again it looks like this will be an insane deadline, but I'm up for it. Let's see what we can come up with in the name of freedom.

*Just so we're on the same page, I haven't designed a single t-shirt or anything from the OutKick shop. This would be new territory for me, but I'm up for a challenge.

• If you're in the Nashville area, don't forget the OutKick 360 team is holding a benefit June 10 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at Top Golf with a Masters-esque green jacket on the line for the event winner. They're going to raise a bunch of money, have a ton of fun and knowing how those guys roll, they're going to have a couple of drinks. Get out there and have some fun with the guys. Sign up here.

• Now get out there and enjoy your holiday weekend. I'll be back Monday morning with a fresh edition of Screencaps to help you recover from that hangover. Be safe and we'll see you in the morning.
