The Latest Trump/Biden 2020 Presidential Election Gambling Odds; Kanye Makes Appearance

From now until the election, Outkick will cover the gambling odds for the 2020 Presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, in the event the odds have moved since the previous Tuesday.

Over the last two weeks, Joe Biden has pulled away a bit more from incumbent Donald Trump in the gambling odds at books in the UK for the 2020 presidential election. Here is where the odds stand today:

Donald Trump: 7/4
Joe Biden: 8/15

This would mean you wager $4 to win $7 on Trump, and he would be about +175 via money-line. For Biden, you'd wager $15 to win $8, and he would be about -187 on the money-line. Last week, the lines didn't move very much from the week before; two weeks ago, Trump was 6/4 (+150) and Biden was 4/6 (-150).

Another wrinkle in the current odds: If you are someone who enjoys taking money out of your wallet and lighting it on fire, Kanye West is 100-1 odds. For other long-shot comparison, Mike Pence and Hillary Clinton currently stand at 50-1.

As I've said a number of times in this entry, I do think that polls and thus gambling odds tend to underrate President Trump. There is an unquantifiable number of people who either support him silently but do not want to say it out loud to a pollster, or vote Republican based on the perception of better economy and/or lower taxes. Nonetheless, during the coronavirus and ongoing racial tensions, President Trump has been slipping in the polls and odds over the past few months.
