Pete Alonso Jams On Stage With Zach Bryan After Mets Loss

The New York Mets spent MLB opening weekend getting swept by the Milwaukee Brewers. But Pete Alonso is living his best life.

After Saturday's 7-6 loss at Citi Field, the first baseman headed over to UBS Arena to enjoy the Zach Bryan concert. And during his song, "Revival," the country singer invited Alonso on stage to sing along.

Videos from the concert show Alonso passionately belting out the lyrics: "Someone call the women and someone steal the bibles / For the sake of my survival / Baptize me in a bottle of Beam and put Johnny on the vinyl."

Luckily, Alonso is a lot better at baseball than he is at singing. And even though the Mets aren't exactly off to a hot start, Alonso is playing well.

In three games, Alonso is averaging .364 with one home run — a clutch solo shot in the bottom of the 9th inning on Saturday.

But Alonso isn’t the only New York sports star who has joined Zach Bryan on stage, as Giants quarterback Daniel Jones also made an appearance during a show last summer at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.

After recently winning his first GRAMMY Award, Bryan is in the middle of his "Quittin' Time" Tour. And he'll be back in New York to wrap up the tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in December.

Maybe Pete Alonso can come back for that show to celebrate the Mets' big World Series win!

Just kidding.
