Masters Champ Appears To Tell Patrons 'F--k Off' After Awful 12th Hole

You know what Zach Johnson didn't do Friday at The Masters? Make the cut after shooting 75 and STINKING.

You know what he also didn't do? Go out on the town last night with the fine people of Augusta and drown his sorrows away.

Well, that last one is pure speculation. The 2007 Masters champ could have very well gone out last night, but I'm gonna take the UNDER on that one after this little interaction late Friday afternoon after a sweet triple-bogey by Zachy Boy on the Par-3 12th:

Zach Johnson had a great day at Augusta!

There's our Ryder Cup captain! America, baby!

Another tourney, another Zach Johnson outburst. What a pistol. Absolute loose cannon out there. You never know what you're gonna get.

Don't forget, it was just earlier this year when Zach had this little back-and-forth with the folks out in Arizona:

See? Wild card. You never know exactly what you're gonna get with Zach Johnson, but you usually know it's gonna involve a couple cuss words, some finger-pointing, and a little spice from the ex-Masters champ.

Speaking of Augusta … there will be no second green jacket for Johnson this weekend. He missed the cut and jetted off to God knows where after last night after telling the crowd to politely f--k off.

Tough day. Oh well.

PS: how much worse did he make it with these comments after the round?

"That I swore at the patrons? That’s laughable. That’s completely laughable," Johnson said when asked about the interaction. "I can’t hear the patrons, No. 1. No. 2, I just made a triple bogey on the 12th hole that evidently is going to make me miss the cut, which at the time I knew was pretty sensitive in the sense that I needed to keep making pars.

If I’ve said anything, which I’m not going to deny, especially if it’s on camera, one, I apologize, and two, it was fully directed towards myself entirely because I can’t hear anything behind me. Does that make sense?"

No. It does not. But we appreciate the effort, Zach!

Zach grew up in Florida, lives in Florida, and will never leave Florida ... for obvious reasons. He's a reigning fantasy football league champion, knows everything there is to know about NASCAR, and once passed out (briefly!) during a lap around Daytona. He swears they were going 200 mph even though they clearly were not.
