Johnny Manziel Wants To Join Iconic TV Series

Johnny Manziel might try his hand at acting.

Manziel hasn't played football in several years, and seems to have just settled on being a sports personality and former Heisman winner.

There's no problem with that, especially given the deep hole he fell in after leaving the Browns. The man has bounced back in impressive fashion, even if there's always room for improvement.

Johnny Manziel wants to join "Blue Mountain State" reboot.

Now, it seems like he might be interested in joining the "Blue Mountain State" reboot. It was recently reported the former comedy show about a fictional college football team might be returning with multiple original cast members, including Alan Ritchson.

Will Johnny Football find his way onto the show? He's certainly hoping so. The Texas A&M Heisman winner reacted to the news and recently tweeted, "I wanna be in this in the worst way. Blue Mountain State 4eva."

Adding Johnny Manziel to a potential "Blue Mountain State" reboot just makes too much sense, right? The people making the reboot simply have to do it.

The series was like Manziel before Johnny Football was even a household name after tearing it up at Texas A&M. Alex Moran was more or less what I'd like to imagine the Heisman winner was exactly like at Texas A&M. A player who just wanted to have a great time and prioritized a great party over just about everything else.

I'm pretty sure Johnny Manziel would be the first to admit there's probably some similarities between himself and the fictional character.

I can see Manziel's role in the series right now. He'd be perfect as an assistant coach who finds himself regularly in trouble with the squad over focusing on his coaching responsibilities. That's a golden idea. Sounds like someone might have to write me a check. If "Blue Mountain State" is coming back - and I hope it does - then let's find a way to make sure the greatest partying QB to ever pick up a football makes an appearance.
