Remember 'Blue Mountain State'? It's Possibly Returning: DETAILS

There's reportedly a very real chance "Blue Mountain State" makes a return to TV.

The series about a fictional college football program has turned into a cult classic over the years, and is pretty much a must-watch for bros everywhere.

It's all about partying, chasing women, shenanigans and being with the guys…….with a little football mixed in. The show aired its last episode in November 2011 and there was a movie released in 2016.

Now, it sounds like fans might get to go back to campus.

"Blue Mountain State" sequel series in the works.

A sequel series is in the works featuring original stars Alan Ritchson, Darin Brooks and Chris Romano, according to Deadline. Nothing is concrete yet with negotiations ongoing, and it's expected Amazon and Netflix will be leaders in the hunt to land it.

Ritchson got his first break in acting as That Castle, and he's turned into a true superstar in recent years thanks to the incredible success of "Reacher."

He can now use his influence and success on the Amazon hit to help grease the tracks for a sequel to happen.

Fans would love a sequel.

There's absolutely no question fans would welcome a "Blue Mountain State" sequel. People are craving great comedy in our current era of woke nonsense.

"Blue Mountain State" could help fill the void when it comes to funny entertainment. The original series was absurd. It was inappropriate, crude, gross at times…….and it was always fun. At the end of the day, that's all people want.

We want to see Thad Castle making wild jokes, Sammy trying desperately to chase women and Alex doing everything possible to avoid responsibility. Inject it right into my soul.

The bad news is this is definitely still years away from coming out, but let's continue to hold out hope it does return. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
