Detroit Pistons GM Troy Weaver Threatens To Kick Heckler's A** Amid Miserable Season (VIDEO)

Foul Language.

Detroit Pistons general manager Troy Weaver had a heated run-in with a fan Saturday night after losing to the Dallas Mavericks, 142-124.

Weaver's conduct fell short of the orderly behavior expected from executives in pro sports.

In a viral video of the incident, the GM is heard threatening the Detroit fan wearing Red Wings merch.

Troy Weaver got into it with the heckler who seemingly blamed Weaver for Detroit's miserable year. At the game, Weaver pointed out the fan and had him escorted out of Little Caesars Arena.

"You're lucky I don't beat your a**," Weaver said to the fan.

The Pistons are 70-229 under Weaver's guidance.

Speaking with ESPN, a bystander, 46-year-old Jeffrey Calloway, gave an account of the heckler's exchange with Weaver.

"The guy that was in the incident, with the Red Wings stuff on, came over and was pointing at the scoreboard earlier in the game," Calloway told the outlet Sunday. "Troy Weaver just shrugged his shoulders and said, 'OK,' and the guy went back to his seat."

The Pistons season-ticker holder added, "When [Jalen] Duren got ejected [midway through the fourth quarter], the guy came back and told him that he was terrible at his job. Then, Troy Weaver was telling the fan he had to leave and that's when ushers or security walked over."

NBA players and personnel experienced their fair share of run-ins with fans this season. The usual suspects clashed with fans; players such as Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

In this case, the NBA may want a word with Weaver concerning his outlook on fan interactions. The league tends to drop the hammer when players answer back at heckling fans. Former Clippers forward Matt Barnes received a $50,000 fine for throwing expletive-laced comments at a heckler.

This year's Pistons squad will live in NBA infamy. Detroit could consider themselves lucky if they manage to record more than 15 wins before the season's end.

Earlier this year, the Pistons lost 28 straight games, setting an NBA record no team would dare touch.

In basketball-related controversies, UConn men's basketball coach Dan Hurley was in the middle of a heated argument with a heckler over the weekend. Saturday's incident tallied Hurley's second occurrence of intimidating a fan this season.
