Alabama Mom Was The Real Star In Opening Rounds Of March Madness

The Alabama basketball team rolled through College of Charleston on Friday thanks in large part to guard Mark Sears, but the CBS cameras found the true hero of the night.

And it was Mark's ELECTRIC mother, Lameka.

There's locked in, and then there's what momma Sears was bringing to the table last night:

Lameka Sears is an electric factory at Alabama

My goodness. I'd run for a brick wall for Lameka Sears. Unreal fire right there.

I was watching the end of this game at the bar last night, and I even noticed Lameka from across the way. This chick was locked in all night.

Every time Mark Sears drained a bucket, the cameras would pan to Lameka, and she was fired up every single time.

At one point, Mark drilled a three, then had a steal and a breakaway bucket on the next possession that pretty much iced the game. And Lameka went NUTS during the play. Wild. Love this girl.

The Tuscaloosa News caught up with Lameka earlier this season, by the way, and she checks all the boxes:

"I don’t care if we’re down 100 points," she told them. "If he’s on the line, I’m on the line."

Alabama beat CoC like a drum thanks to Mark's 30 points, so the Crimson Tide – and Lameka – will take today off before facing Grand Canyon on Sunday.

Good luck competing with that, Lopes.

He swears they were going 200 mph even though they clearly were not.
