We’re now hours away from the most prominent sports betting day of the year, Super Bowl LV. Now that sports betting is legal and launched across more states than ever before, Sunday’s big game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs has a chance to be the most wagered upon game in history.

Here are the notable findings in the current betting data courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook:

The Buccaneers are the favorites on the moneyline.

According to the data, sports bettors at the FanDuel Sportsbook prefer the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the moneyline, commanding 54% of all bets. A moneyline bet is a wager on a team to win the game outright. It makes sense, as most Chiefs bettors are on the spread where they have much better odds.

The total has moved from 56.5 to 55.5.

The over currently commands 69% of all bets on the total, yet sportsbooks have decreased the line a point. The movement signals that professional bettors prefer the under on the game’s total.

FanDuel expects the most same game parlays ever.

The top-3 props commanding action on the Super Bowl are Tom Brady passing over 296.5 yards, Travis Kelce over 98.5 receiving yards, and Patrick Mahomes over 329.5 passing yards. These are some of sports bettor’s favorite bets in their same game parlays.

Tyreke Hill’s receiving yards prop continues to grow.

The line opened at 86.5 and has ballooned to 94.5. Sports bettors are expecting a massive game from the Chiefs’ top wideout. Over 99% of all bets on this prop are on the over.

More money is on tails.

The coin toss is one of the most popular bets on Super Bowl Sunday. Though it’s a real 50-50 proposition, over 54% of the money is on tails. Last year, FanDuel Sportsbook paid out over $200k when tails won.

Bettors love Patrick Mahomes to win MVP, despite more bets on the “Position to win MVP” prop going to wide receivers and defensive players.

Mahomes commands over 20% of the handle to win Super Bowl MVP, while wide receivers have a 34.7% share and defensive players have a 37% share for the position to win MVP prop.

Travis Kelce first touchdown scorer is getting lots of attention.

For one of the more popular and more challenging props to win, Kelce is commanding a ton of attention from bettors. Kelce to score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl has 16% of the handle for that prop bet.
