Sophia Culpo Lands Jets Slot Receiver Braxton Berrios

Sophia Culpo, the 21-year-old sister of Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, who’s deep into a relationship with Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, has landed herself rising star slot receiver Braxton Berrios. The tabloids say Sophia and Berrios, a slot receiver Bill Belichick has to be kicking himself for not landing in the 2018 NFL Draft, made it official over Valentine’s weekend and have gone on to promote themselves this week doing a couples workout.

Sophia, who’s sitting on just 158k Instagram followers while her older sister overshadows her social influencing career, couldn’t have picked a better up-and-coming slot receiver to be her first venture into the NFL dating market. Berrios had 37 catches for 394 yards and three touchdowns for a terrible Jets team. Those numbers figure to go up in year three for the sixth-round pick out of The U.

This actually seems to be a smart play for both of these rising talents. Berrios isn’t exactly sitting on a huge contract to help pay for a glamourous Instagram lifestyle, while Culpo is in need of an NFL talent to raise her influencing game.

Here’s how I see this playing out this spring/summer. McCaffrey just bought a castle in North Carolina that’s right on the water. Berrios will meet Sophia there for some rest and relaxation that will turn into an ab-off between the NFL guys. Olivia will be pumping out IG Stories to her 4.7 million followers who will be introduced to shredded Berrios. The brand managers in NYC already know they’re sitting on an influencing machine with Berrios. They just need him to crank up the heat with this relationship.

Do I see these two swimming with the pigs in the Bahamas this summer? Absolutely. Do I see Berrios and McCaffrey running routes on a beach in Barbados? Yes. There are so many ways Sophia can use this relationship to her content-creating advantage.

Berrios just has to be careful and remember he’s operating on that Not For Long contract. No yachts. No private jet trips. Don’t be quick to Venmo McCaffrey for boat fuel. He has to have his head on straight here.
