Christian McCaffrey’s girlfriend Olivia Culpo confirmed the big news this week when she posted a photo of the Panthers running back sitting on a tailgate in front of his new Mooresville, North Carolina castle. According to real estate records, McCaffrey dropped $7.5 million on the six bedroom, seven-plus bathroom mansion (with elevator) spread out over nearly 11,000 sq. ft. on the shores of Lake Norman.
Inspired by the countryside of France, the Grand Lac Chateau, Olivia Culpo is about to unleash a content-creating frenzy inside this massive house that sits on eight acres of privacy. During the offseason, McCaffrey signed a four-year extension with the Panthers that paid him a $30 million signing bonus, $22 million in 2020 and another $8.1 million in March when the Panthers pick up his option. Add it all up and McCaffrey has plenty of money to pay the mortgage on this place while playing for the Panthers.
Think of all the brands that will want to engage with the 24-year-old stud RB and girlfriend Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, as they furnish 11,000 sq. ft. and start cranking out content from this place.
These two social media forces combined are fully capable of paying off the note on this castle with Instagram Story posts. Culpo’s Instagram post of McCaffrey on the tailgate has 138,000k likes. Not a big fan of her eyebrows. Other than that, not too bad. The important thing is, what is she like on the inside.

The place looks awesome from the outside, and the inside matches. I hope McCaffrey just bought the place outright. Best of luck to him on managing Culpo’s expectations…
