California has been a state since 1850. That means that in early September, it will have been 171 years since that move to statehood. Officials haven’t been counting population figures that long, but they’ve been keeping up with it for quite a while.
On Friday, California’s Finance Department revealed something interesting. For the first time since at least 1900, the state’s population actually decreased. Almost 200,000 people — 182,000, to be exact — left, leaving the population at just below 39.5 million, according to Yahoo News.
Like with most things, excuses are being made for the decline. Here are a few snippets from that article.
The reasons are varied but involve the pause on migration due to the pandemic, officials say.
The recent decline comes as the state sees an increase in yearly deaths due to the coronavirus and as the US birth rate continues to fall.
The state also saw negative numbers of international migration last year, such as new university students from abroad, which officials attributed to Trump administration policies.
What do we expect them to say? Good luck getting the state to admit that its poor handling of the COVID-19 pandemic had anything to do with it, even though we all know it absolutely did.
Unnecessary COVID-19 restrictions were not the only contributing factor in the decline though. Caitlyn Jenner, who is now running for Governor of California, recently told Fox News that it was also partly the result of the homeless population.
There are many factors involved, but let’s not ignore how many residents in that state, such as Joe Rogan, want out due to the lockdowns, high taxes and overall incompetence of the government. But like a lot of other things, don’t expect to hear the whole truth.
I’m sure a vast majority of those left in the state are currently thrilled with Governor Gavin Newsom.

Where I live we have seen a huge influx of people from Cali as well as NY and other liberal wastelands, but to my great relief, they almost all seem to be conservatives who fled the stupidity and will actually do anything to avoid going back to that standard. Hopefully that’s the same everywhere.

I’d say 80% of the male transplants won’t vote for liberal pols. The women transplants…closer to 40%. The men should just leave those spouses in Cali or NY…maybe visit on Thanksgiving and Mothers Day. Pay her to stay there…maybe even hook her up with a male friend. Just don’t let her carry her progressive bullshit voting patterns to red states.

What did California have before Socialism? Electricity.
The state is overrun with homeless degenerates. Wild fires make breathing unhealthy. Open borders stress schools, hospitals, public health and welfare services. Violent gangs rule the urban environment. People in face masks inside their cars abound. People say “anything is possible” when asked if men can have babies. Stupid is as stupid does. It is a sad state of affairs. California voters, like Oregon and Washington voters deserve what they voted for. It appears only divine intervention can turn this ship of fools around.

Amen Dennis. Here in the Central San Joaquin valley, aka the “Texas” of California, we’re told how we’re a bunch of ignorant hillbillies, and that we shouldn’t be a part of the rest of the state.
That’s fine with us. We’ll keep all of our fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, beef, poultry, pork, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, etc. that the rest of the country so desperately wants and needs.
Oh, and did I mention water?
The biggest fact that most fail to realize, is that many of the snowflake Karen’s are fleeing here. From San Francisco to San Diego, we’re absorbing many more than those who have left the state. That’s why it’s important for the rest of us to stand up and fight for what is ours.
I’m running for local school board this year. Do I have the time? Absolutely not. Do I want my kids learning Daddy is a racist, and Mommy is ignorant for marrying him since she is Hispanic? Hell no. So I’m doing something about it.
If we would all stand up for ourselves and do something about it, we can change the course of this liberal cyclone, but it’s going to take all of us.

The total population sum is calculated by adding:
Outbound v. inbound total people, minus births minus deaths.
So, in reality, it wasn’t 182,000 who moved out of CA—it was more:
8–10 million (and there’s always the possibility there’s more) moved out of California from 2007-2020, with approximately 10% of these within the last 24 months.

History confirms that the vast majority of those who move from majority Democrat states and cities will vote identically in their new states and cities, as they did in the states and municipalities they fled.
