Jets Safety Marcus Maye Rips Gregg Williams for Bad Call on Henry Ruggs TD



The Jets preserved their pole position for the first overall pick in the NFL Draft and generational talent Trevor Lawrence by losing in the final seconds to the Raiders on the above bomb from Derek Carr to Henry Ruggs Jr. Jets fans are ecstatic, but the players are not.

This is the time of year where these types of soundbites start to fly on dejected teams. It's hard for us to know from the outside what proportion of the blame to assign to the players versus coaches. Regardless, it was fortunate for the long-term prospects of the franchise.
