Mei Brennan Crushes Driver In A Blizzard, Georges St-Pierre Ends Water Fast & Cam's Weird Morning Routine

Imagine a world where the Patriots aren't on national television 14 times a year

After Monday night, we're headed towards an era where Bill Belichick throwing a phone is the final interesting piece connected to the Patriots Super Bowl dynasty. ESPN's MNF crew spent a quarter and a half analyzing the future of Bill and the Krafts, while the Buffalo Bills took over as the dominant force in the AFC East. Bills fans had to be sitting in their recliners trying to figure out if they were dreaming. I believe it was somewhere around the 8:00 mark in the third quarter when the game was over, and Brian Griese was pondering where the Patriots go from here with so little talent on the roster. Do they go quarterback in the middle of the first round? Does Bill trade out like normal and try to strike gold in the 5th, 6th or 7th? Who is the face of the franchise?

Bills fans had to be smiling ear to ear while crushing Blue Lights and washing it down with ranch dressing shots.

Drop this one around the water cooler this morning: the last time the Bills swept the Patriots in a season was 1999. Doug Flutie was the Bills quarterback. Four of the last five times the Bills swept the Patriots in a season, Buffalo has gone on to play in the AFC Championship. Social media is littered with Bills fans who've never seen what the franchise accomplished Monday night.

• Bowl season gets cranking again this evening with Oklahoma State-Miami at 5:30 followed by Texas-Colorado from San Antonio. In the second game, prepare yourself for four quarters of "Should Sam Ehlinger return for another season?" talk. ESPN will drive that theme into the ground.

• I'm starting to see Bourbon Street content from Ohio State fans who are making a full week of it down in New Orleans. I did that once for Super Bowl week, and it was at least four days too much. Give me a three-day bender in NOLA, and I'm perfectly content.

• Have you watched the Nashville police bodycam video where cops walk by the RV playing its warning before blowing up? Anyone else find it weird how the cops are so casual while getting a weird vibe from that RV? I'm not typically a conspiracy guy, but I know when my conspiracy radar is going off at abnormal levels.

Here's a wild story out of Ohio. Eight years ago, burglars stole a woman's puppy during a home invasion. The woman kept looking for her dog and eventually found him on a Humane Society page. Now Junior is back to his original family all these years later.
