Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Gives Snotty Response For Maskless Hypocrisy

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is sinus-ly out of his gourd here.

Not only does Garcetti overlook disastrous data on crime and COVID in the ultra-restricted LA County, but he also doesn't mind handing out excuses to the media that make no scents.

Attending the Los Angeles Rams versus San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship Game on Sunday, the Dem was seen in a maskless, crowded booth with Lakers legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson and later explained that he held his breath throughout the meeting — thus effectively lowering his viral spread to zero percent, according to Joe Biden's abacus.

Garcetti clarified the situation as he accepted "personal responsibility" for violating his touted COVID mask mandate.

“I’ll take personal responsibility,” Garcetti told the press on Wednesday after facing backlash for the photographed cameo, as relayed by Deadline Hollywood.

He added, “And if it makes you and everyone else happy — or even the photographs with people where literally I’m holding my breath for two seconds — I won’t even do that.”

Spotted in the cocky cohort was Calif. Governor Gavin Newsom, whose viewpoint on restrictions throughout the pandemic represented a more radical approach than Garcetti's.

As relayed by OutKick's Anthony Farris, Newsom also tried to dodge the backlash by claiming that he took off his mask as a kind gesture to Magic Johnson's photo-op.

“I was trying to be gracious,” Newsom claimed. “I took the mask off for a brief second. But I encourage people to continue to wear them.”

The governor has gone as far as equating unvaccinated citizens to drunk drivers for their role in spreading COVID.
