Maria Taylor Tries Hard to Claim Men's Baylor Photo Diminishes Women; Fails Hilariously

ESPN's Maria Taylor, whom Mike Florio upset in OutKick's Woke All-Star Challenge Sweet 16 bracket, spent her morning looking hard for outrage and injustice.

After SportsCenter, the flagship show of Taylor's employer, tweeted out that the Baylor's men team -- with a graphic clearly stating "men's" -- is headed to the Final Four for the first time in 1950, Taylor ignored the wording to be snarky and imply SportsCenter was diminishing women.

Accurate graphic:

Fake outrage, looking for retweets:

What is Maria Taylor trying to accomplish? (To be fair, this question could be asked about all her tweets these days.)

You have to feel bad for the intern who likely tweeted this out via the SportsCenter account. The person made sure to specify the men's tournament in the graphic, only to have one of ESPN's most promoted talents put a disingenuous spin on it.

The truth is, Maria Taylor and many others in the media are so desperate to find injustices that they oftentimes miss details and make themselves look ridiculous. Taylor saw this tweet and was so excited to claim it diminishes women that she forgot to take a few seconds to actually look at the full graphic. These people constantly treat outrage like a race.

It's also incredibly disappointing. Taylor is a talented broadcaster who was well on her way to stardom before she took a hard-woke turn over the past nine months. Taylor is not Bomani Jones, Sarah Spain, or Mark Jones, three people whose value is tied to calling the country racist and scaring their bosses into promoting and paying them. Yet Taylor has joined this unremarkable, woke ilk of late.

Anyway, I hope this SportsCenter tweeter doesn't get in trouble for ... well, whatever Maria Taylor is falsely accusing him/her of.
