Michigan High School Football Is Back With A Huge Hit & INT For Touchdown You Need To See
It was a big night for high school football in the state of Michigan. Governor Gretchen Whitmer finally relaxed her COVID-19 rules and allowed the boys to get back out on the field for some pigskin and that led to Rockford's Sam Watts making what just might be the best play of the night across the state.
Fox 17's Zach Harig was recording as Watts blasted a would-be receiver, knocked the ball into the air, picked it off and ran it back for a 76-yard touchdown in Rockford's 16-13 overtime win over Jenison.
I need you guys to hit play on this video at least a dozen times. Feel the energy as Watts lights up the receiver. Feel the emotion as the crowd gasps, knowing they just saw a hit that's going to go viral on Twitter once people wake up this morning.
Good for Watts, his team and football players across the state. We're glad to see you guys back out on the field. As Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Vince Williams said so eloquently this week, " show up to play football and let’s kick ass and go about our day.”
