Good News Of The Day: Golf Channel's Tiger Tracker Is Back For The Masters

It was announced today that the death of the Tiger Tracker Twitter account that so many of you love and cherish was premature. The person behind the @GCTigerTracker account announced today that he/she is in Augusta for the Masters, and you'll still get your Tiger updates this week in Augusta. The practice rounds are currently being played ahead of what appears to be a soggy tournament if the weather forecast holds.

Many believed Golf Channel had eliminated Tiger Tracker's job during a round of layoffs back in October. "As you know is in the midst of significant change," Tiger Tracker wrote today on Twitter. "It's a big reason why I was MIA for Zozo - the 1st time in years teed it up and I wasn't there. Not my intention, but it happened."

"Where things go from here remains to be seen. There's a strong chance the future involves a hiatus for me and this account. But for now, we're here. No matter how things play out, know that there was no chance I was going to miss Tiger Bleeping Woods defending the green jacket.

"To those that reached out in recent weeks with messages, concerns for my whereabouts or questions about the status of my liver: thanks. I read them all, and they meant a ton."

There you have it. Enjoy Tiger Tracker this week. We could soon come to the end of a social media chapter.
