Tiger Woods Posts Update On His Condition, Recovery

Tiger Woods is back at home recovering after a multi-week stint in the hospital from a single-vehicle crash back in February. The news comes directly from the legendary golfer himself, who tweeted out on Tuesday.

"Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery," Woods wrote. "I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks."

"Thank you to the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center," the golfer, whose car car struck a sign in the center divider, sheared through a tree and landed in the brush alongside the road with major damage, added. "You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough.

"I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day."

The wreck occurred back on Feb. 23, and Woods was immediately treated at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. He was later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where he has spent the last couple of weeks.

It's great to see Woods continue his road to recovery.

It was a scary breaking news story initially, but he's got his life and his drive to get back to 100 percent. Now all he needs is time.
