Eagles Fans Lose It Over Tom Brady Chatting With Fellow Michigan Man After Victory

Eagles fans erupted Sunday night when MMQB's Albert Breer tweeted a photo of Tom Brady chatting with Jon Runyan Jr., whose dad was a senior at the University of Michigan in 1995 when Brady was a redshirt freshman. It was a nice moment where Old Tom Brady showed his age and longevity in the NFL by chatting with Junior, who also played at for the Wolverines.

But Eagles fans, who were fighting mad Sunday, didn't find it very cute. They laid into Brady for shaking hands and saying hello to an opponent after a win and not after a loss. Eagles fans are still seething from Super Bowl LII, when Brady couldn't seem to find and shake hands with Nick Foles, the MVP QB who was celebrating with his teammates.

That hatred for Brady carried over to the Buccaneers-Bears game on October 8 when Brady forgot to shake Foles' hand after a loss once again. Eagles fans will forever have BDN's back and #neverforget.

Eagles fans claim that Brady's only in the mood to chat when his team wins and that he's a poor loser who should openly acknowledge Foles' accomplishments against him.

For his part, Foles doesn't understand the controversy. "It will happen when it happens. We practiced with the Patriots several years ago, and I got to stand there and talk to Tom for quite a bit. He's a great guy. I have all the respect in the world for him," Foles said in 2018 about the handshake that never happened.

Eagles fans, however, will die on this hill:
