Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Crumbles Under The Cancel Mob After Previously Supporting Joe Rogan

Though Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson croons about being your own man and embodying an alpha man's characteristics, the wrestler-turned-actor still holds the same soft spot as the majority of Hollywood.

Days after backing podcast host Joe Rogan in the midst of fighting claims of "COVID misinformation," Johnson withdrew his support for Rogan, despite having every ounce of clout and wealth to brush off any remark.

Twitter user and author Don Winslow tagged The Rock, professing his broken heart over The Rock's support for the alleged radicalism of Rogan's podcast.

It only took a puddle of tears on Twitter for Johnson to slip.

He responded with a solemn apology — cooing Winslow for having triggered him.

Johnson responded with the following:

"Dear @donwinslow Thank you so much for this. I hear you as well as everyone here 100%. I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I've become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me. ..."

The Rock's retraction was a deflating, but predictable, response. And in retrospect, Johnson's message to Rogan really hammed up the vapid support in a desperate bid to become "Hollywood's independent," now a hair under the ranks of Matthew McConnaughey.

“Great stuff here brother,” Johnson responded to Rogan on an Instagram post, “perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”

The effects of steroids on a man's johnson may not be a myth after all.
