Donald Trump Used McDonald's To Get Him Through COVID

"Ba da ba ba ba...I'm lovin it," said Donald Trump. Probably. Maybe.

It's no secret the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, loves him some Mickey D's. Like the rest of us non-pretentious folk, he's a red-blooded American who's not afraid to indulge in some fried food and grease. In fact, Trump's such a fan of what Ronald McDonald is putting out there that he actually had food from the Golden Arches brought in while hospitalized with COVID last year.

"Trump had McDonald's brought to Walter Reed after the Regeneron started kicking in," Maggie Haberman of the New York Times tweeted.

Haberman gathered her information after reading as much in a soon-to-be published book written by Mark Meadows, Trump's White House chief of staff. Meadows' book, per Haberman, says that Trump had McDonald's brought to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after Trump was treated with Regeneron, an antibody treatment.

It shouldn't come as a surprise. Trump has long preferred fast food to fancy establishments. He finds the food to be safer to eat. While in office, Trump even served fast food from a variety of well-known chains to teams visiting the White House following their championship season. This, of course, was deemed racist by certain left-wing journalists, because nothing say's "you're racist" like a Big Mac!

Trump's decidedly non-racist bedside burger had to be consumed while wearing a face shield, per Meadow's book, as tweeted by Haberman: "They had to eat with face shields on at the doctor's orders, which didn't thrill any of them."

Not exactly the ideal way to chow down on some Filet-O-Fish, which according to multiple reports, is part of Trump's go-to order. His preferred meal consists of two Filet-O-Fish, two Big Macs and a chocolate shake.

Who needs vaccines and boosters when a little Mickey D's can nurse even the most powerful man in the world back to health?
