Trump phoned into a press conference promoting Saturday night’s Evander Holyfield – Vitor Belfort fight and unloaded on President Joe Biden.
Asked who he would fight if he had to step into the ring on Saturday and what the result would be, Trump responded as only he can: “If I had to pick somebody in the world, not only a professional boxer…because I’ll take a pass on the professional boxers – that can be a very dangerous subject. But if I had to box somebody, I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden.”
Following raucous applause, Trump continued: “I think he’d go down very, very quickly. Very, very quickly. (Biden) once said, ‘I’d like to take him behind the barn.’ He’d be in big trouble if he ever did. I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds.”
The 45th President of the United States and his son, Donald Trump Jr., will be providing commentary for this weekend’s Holyfield – Belfort bout in Florida.
Those inside the squared circle will have a tough act to follow after Trump’s opening round knockout.
There is no way Joe Biden would be able to climb into a ring.
I’m going to honestly editorialize here as a devout American who voted Trump and will again if that’s the nominee.
I like Trump, but this country is in BIG trouble right now and enough of the sideshow stuff already. We need some serious minded people have serious discussions about some GIGANTIC problems that are happening to people right now. I don’t give a flip about his boxing prowess quite frankly. Lay that BS sideshow stuff aside, Biden isn’t worth wasting time on, and let’s focus on what to do to put out this 5 alarm dumpster fire in progress. As a contrast, I’m watching how Larry Elder operates and carries himself in the midst of all the criticism and attacks on him in California. He doesn’t swerve off message to take the media bait, he keeps conversation on the failures, problems and his solutions, period. Do that. 24/7. Let’s stay on topic and stay on message. Too much is at stake right now to waste time on the personal attack stuff. That’s so 2016. Evolve. It’s gotten real up in here since back then. I mean it it with nothin but love, but still.. it’s serious.
