Detroit Lions player Jamaal Williams gave an outstanding speech to hype up the squad during camp.

In a preview clip for “Hard Knocks,” the veteran running back worked the guys up into a frenzy with a speech that will have you ready for battle.

“Do not feel like you tired. When you tired, think of last year and think of that f**king record. Every time I get tired or I think I can’t go no more, I think of that f**king record,” the former BYU star told his Detroit teammates. Give his full comments a watch below. It’s awesome!

As a Lions fan, I never believe the team will be any good. After decades of pathetic performances on the field, you’d have to be a fool to be optimistic going into any season.

Having said that, I will say Dan Campbell seems to be changing the culture in Detroit. There’s no question about that.

For the first time in a long time, it feels like the Lions have a serious edge to them. It feels like they’re ready to die in the trenches if that’s what it takes.

After a 3-13-1 2021 campaign that featured many heartbreaking losses, it looks like the Lions are ready to take a step forward.

At the very least Williams is!

Now, will that translate to a lot of wins on the field in year two for Dan Campbell? Who knows, but it’s going to be a ton of high-energy fun no matter what happens!
