Zach Bryan Pays Powerful Tribute To Murdered NYC Cop: VIDEO

Zach Bryan pulled a very classy move in honor of slain NYC police officer Jonathan Diller.

Diller was murdered last month during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens, and the alleged shooter Guy Rivera reportedly had been arrested more than 20 previous times.

His death sent shockwaves through the law enforcement community, and was downright tragic. It was an unfortunate and brutal reminder of what police can sometimes face.

Well, Zach Bryan made sure to honor him during a Long Island concert.

Bryan was performing at UBS Arena last weekend when he took time out of his show to honor Diller's memory and legacy.

"I got some really bad news this morning. Someone told me there’s an officer named Jonathan Diller who passed away in the line of duty, and he was from Long Island, right here. I got some really bad news this morning. Someone told me there’s an officer named Jonathan Diller who passed away in the line of duty, and he was from Long Island, right here," Bryan told the crowd, according to Fox News.

He also flashed Diller's photo during his song "Jake's Piano" and added, "That's for officer Jonathan Diller. And any cop, any EMS, any first responders. We love the s--- out of you. Seriously. You're so brave."

This is just the latest example of Zach Bryan being a hell of a good dude. Many celebrities aren't people you actually want to be around. It's often an act. Just because someone can read a script or sing a song doesn't make them actually interesting.

Zach Bryan routinely proves he's one of the good guys. He recently was filmed gifting a woman with serious health issues a guitar in another touching moment.

Now, he took some time to honor a police officer killed in the line of duty. The world needs more positivity, and Bryan seems intent on providing it.

Props to Zach Bryan for taking some time to honor Jonathan Diller. You simply love to see it. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
