'You Finna Get Some Bleeps:' 'Get Up' Crew Cracks Up Over Ryan Clark's Recap Of Jonathan Allen's Comments
The “Get Up” crew’s vibes were immaculate on this Monday morning.
One of the panel’s topics of discussion was comments made by Washington Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen after a 14-7 loss to the Giants.
He’s normally one of the more level-headed individuals when relating to the media. But Allen threw caution to the wind when sharing how he felt about his team’s “lack of focus.”
If you’re in your company’s break room watching this, make sure you have headphones in. And don’t play this in front of children either; you’ll probably expand their vocabulary.
That’s certainly attention-grabbing. But the “Get Up” crew didn’t find anything wrong with it. In fact, they turned this into an opportunity to laugh.
Mike Greenburg asked Ryan Clark for his reaction to Allen’s comments, and that’s when things took a hilarious turn. Clark went on a 75-second rant about how no one should have been surprised by Allen’s comments based on how he dressed.
“When you walk up to the dude in the locker room, and he got a do-rag, sunglasses, and a chain on, with an open chest, you finna get some bleeps,” Clark said. “You walked into expletives. This man looked like Sho’nuff!...The sheer audacity of the outfit says, 'I don't give no F's. Zero of 'em.'"
Sports fans often beg for intelligent, colorful analysis from knowledgeable individuals. We don’t settle for a bunch of guys throwing around cliches and basic research. Clark delivered on an elite level.
This is why it's occasionally worth watching sports talk shows. You never know when you’ll get an all-time great discussion like this.
