Toby Keith's Son Shares Incredibly Emotional Tribute After Singer's Death

Toby Keith's son Stelen shared a powerful tribute to his father.

The country music icon passed away earlier in the week at the age of 62 after battling stomach cancer. The death sent shockwaves through the country music world.

Keith was one of the greatest singers to ever live, and he  was unapologetically pro-America. They simply don't make too many men like that these days.

There's no doubt the "Beer for my Horses" singer will be missed, and his son's tribute is a punch straight to the gut.

Toby Keith's son shares powerful tribute.

Stelen took to Instagram Thursday to share a photo of himself as a little kid in a pool with his dad. He wrote the following caption, in part:

"You are the strongest man I have ever known. A fighter. A true titan of your industry. My guiding star. My coach. My hero.

An embodiment of the American Spirit.

You are a man whose strength, prowess, and talent could only be trumped by his ability to be a father and husband.

Your impact is forever stamped on the world and on millions of people, yet not one person knew you the way I did. You were my biggest champion and the guiding light in my darkest times.

The best mentor a man could ask for."

You can read the entire caption in the post below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com. It's definitely going to pull at your emotions.

Keith will be missed.

That tribute from Stelen is absolutely a punch to the gut when it comes to remembering his father. Toby Keith left an incredible impact on millions of country music fans, and he was also an incredible family man.

At the end of the day, all you can do is hope to leave the world a better place for your family and friends. Judging from Stelen's tribute, there's no doubt at all that his father left a huge impact on him.

Now, Toby Keith is gone. Death is always brutal, but it's even worse when cancer takes someone from this world at the age of 62. It's far too young, and downright heartbreaking.

RIP to a true legend, and our thoughts and prayers remain with his family during this tragic time. Feel free to reach out with your thoughts to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
