Toby Keith dies after battle with stomach cancer.

This is absolutely horrible news, and it's another brutal reminder just how awful cancer is. Toby Keith is one of the greatest country singers in the history of music.

He made songs for just about every setting and mood. The man could bring you to tears just as easily as he could make you want to crack a beer.

Now, he's gone at the young age of 62 after battling cancer.

X was quickly flooded with tributes pouring in for the country music icon. It's clear his death has left a lot of fans shook.

Celebrity deaths rarely move the needle for me, but this one just hits differently. Toby Keith was a walking legend. His song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" became a unifying anthem for Americans after 9/11. It gave complete strangers something to celebrate, and it made people feel great about the USA.

There might never be a song like it ever again.

RIP to a true legend and icon. Toby Keith won't ever be forgotten in the country music world. Gone far too soon, but there's no question he left behind an incredible legacy.

Grab yourself a beer and smash play on the video below. There's no better way to honor Toby Keith.
