Skip Bayless Actually Saying His Now-Viral Tweet Is The Best Thing You'll Hear Today

I don't know why, but I can't get enough of the Skip Bayless drama this week. Skip annoys some people. I love the guy. Everything he does and says – and tweets – is hilarious to me.

I can't stop watching. Don't know why, but it's captivating.

Anyway, earlier this week, Skip pressed send on maybe the greatest tweet of all time. It was in response to his Dallas Cowboys falling asleep at the wheel during free agency, and, of course, featured the most heroic comma placement in the history of commas.

When I saw it, I knew it had viral potential. The internet just had to play ball.

And buddy, they delivered.

Skip Bayless puts on a masterclass in content

The replies were endless. Still are. The original all in, my ass tweet from Skip went insanely viral. I'm talking nearly 80 million views as of today and over 20,000 retweets.

It was perfect. Skip Bayless is so dramatic, and some people hate it. I love #content – and also depend on it for my job – so I'm obviously all in on Skip.

I didn't think there was any way he could top the tweet. So simple, so effective, so perfect.

But then he hopped on his podcast yesterday and addressed it – and said it. And it was incredible.

Better than I could've ever imagined. Like Empire Strikes Back, it somehow topped the original.

Actually hearing Skip Bayless say "all in, my ass" was the jolt of electricity I needed today.

I feel like I could conquer anything this Saturday throws at me now. Nothing could possibly get me down.

And the commentary after he says it is even better!

"Had to have that comma … with those four words, I can break the internet … I hit a nerve … I struck oil, fuming, hot, oil. I hit a gusher of emotion."

The best part is, I think Skip may actually believe his tweet went viral because Cowboys fans are pissed at Jerry Jones. I know he says it, but I think he actually believes it.

Hilarious. And the ending? Where he says it again, this time even more emphatically?

Perfection.

Absolute masterclass from Skip Bayless this week. Kudos.
