Paige Spiranac Digs Up Some White Lingerie And Auditions For The Happy Gilmore Sequel

We're all excited for the possibility of a Happy Gilmore sequel – but none of us are as ready to rock and roll as one Paige Spiranac.

That's right – Pageviews has gone ahead and thrown her hat in the ring to be the next Virginia Venit, AKA Claire from Modern Family, AKA Julie Bowen.

Once again, the world's No. 1 golf influencer jumped ahead of a trend and is now atop the mountain once again. You wanna jog the Google Algo on a March Madness Saturday and steal the show?

Throw on some of your laciest white lingerie, grab a couple pitchers of beers and re-enact one of the most memorable golf scenes of all time.

Paige Spiranac wants in on the next Happy Gilmore movie

Goodness gracious me. Did Paige Spiranac do it again or what?

Here I am on this late Saturday afternoon, just trying to enjoy this little doozy of a game between Gonzaga and Kansas, and I see Paige pump out a Happy Gilmore heater.

How am I not supposed to blog about that? I love Happy Gilmore, I love Julie Bowen, and I love Paige Spiranac. It's not often you get to jam all three together in one big, beautiful sandwich, but here we are.

What a time to be alive. What a year already, and it's only March.

For those who missed it, Shooter McGavin – played by the wonderful Christopher McDonald (great in Flubber, by the way) – let the cat out of the bag Friday that Adam Sandler apparently already has a draft written up for Happy Gilmore 2.

Talk about a bombshell.

"And here's quick intel," he said yesterday. "I saw Adam (Sandler) about two weeks ago, and he says, 'You're gonna love this.'

Incredible.

Some folks will balk at the notion of a sequel because "WHY MESS WITH THE ORIGINAL????"

Blah, blah, blah. Shut up. It's an awesome original and it'll be an awesome sequel. Adam Sandler doesn't miss, and neither does Paige Spiranac.

Sign me up.
