Oklahoma Family Claims 8-Foot Bigfoot Gave Them The Look Before Vanishing Into The Wilderness
Fifteen seconds. Three witnesses. One Bigfoot.
Last week, a family out for a drive near the Washita River in Oklahoma spotted an 8-foot-tall creature walking across a power line easement.
What they believe to be a Bigfoot had seen them coming over the hill and stopped walking. When they stopped their truck to investigate, it decided to keep it moving to the other side of the easement.

"I got out of the truck and when he stood up and went towards the woods I was shaking and knew what I was seeing. I hollered as loud as I could to get his attention," the 39-year-old mom reported to the BFRO.
"He stopped turned and looked for maybe a second and then disappeared into the woods. The whole experience lasted maybe 15 seconds. Without a doubt it was a bigfoot."
The woman, her husband, 44, and her 23-year-old stepson had all seen the Bigfoot, which she says was across the river from where they were at the time. It had "dark dark brown hair that had a red tint or glow in the sunlight."
The sighting took place last Tuesday, February 24, around 5-5:30 in the evening. This family isn’t a bunch of Bigfoot amateurs. The husband has a prior encounter under their belt at the Washita River.
Back in October 2008, he was fishing on the river by himself at around 2am when a Bigfoot grunted in the woods and scared him so bad he almost left his boat and everything else behind.

"He had to muster up the courage to get his things and he did so very fast and got out of there," she said of her husband's prior encounter.
Now we all know The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization takes these sorts of matters very seriously. They are professionals after all.
A follow-up investigation was done by Matthew Moneymaker, who not only determined that the report was legit, but classified it as a "Triple-A" report due to the fact that there were three Class A witnesses.
You can brush up on your report classifications here.
"All three saw a sasquatch along this powerline easement," Moneymaker wrote. "The witnesses were standing near the powerline poles 1,530 feet east of the powerline poles where the sasquatch walked beside."
He continued, "Even at that distance the size of the figure was undeniably huge. The powerline poles are 3-4 feet is diameter so they provided a good gauge of width and height of something walking by them."
He added that Bigfoot sightings around powerlines in rural areas are not unusual. The reported wind at the time likely played a role in them being able to sneak up on it.
So how did they not get at least one of those infamous blurry pictures of the alleged Bigfoot. Moneymaker has been doing this a long time. He knows the answer to that question.
"The sighting lasted only about 15 seconds. In these situations, where someone is not out looking for these creatures, the witness is typically dumbfounded by what they are seeing for at least that long."
