Italian Soccer Reporter Diletta Leotta & Her Fiance Were Denied Entry To Infamous Berlin Sex Nightclub

Diletta Leotta is one of the biggest names covering the sport of soccer.  She has more than 9 million followers on Instagram and is also engaged to German goalkeeper Loris Karius.

None of that mattered when the Italian soccer reporter and her fiance tried to get into one of Berlin's infamous nightclubs recently.  The two were enjoying a mid-season vacation in the German capital when they decided to attempt to get into the nightclub Berghain.

This particular club is known for sex parties, techno music and a strict entry policy according to some local travel websites.  In a move that amounts to a fireable offense, the bouncers working the door the night Diletta and Loris showed up, turned the hot soccer couple away.

"You know, Daniele (Daniele Battaglia, Italian radio presenter and singer), that I was in Berlin and you know that I told you that I really wanted to go to Berghain, this very famous one nightclub in which there is, however, very strict entry control," Diletta said.

"I came to the front with my beautiful coat, you know, the yellow one with all the fringes, and with a bright smile and said 'Hello!'  But guys, I've never been dumped like that before.'"

The wild techno sex party club doesn't technically have a dress code, but they seem to have a preference for those wearing darker clothing, as reported on by those same local travel websites.

So Diletta's bright yellow coat probably didn't help.  Even so, she doesn't believe it's the only reason they were denied entry.

She added, "Loris made a mistake, among other things, because he made me go in first.  Girls usually have more chances.  And they looked at me like that and did that [shakes her head]."

Look, I get that they want to have their weird little sex club with a bunch of unwritten rules about who is allowed the privilege of being let in, but what are they doing out in Berlin?

How does Diletta Leotta end up being denied entry?  The bouncers in charge have to do a little research if they're going to be trusted to work the door.

This isn't just anyone showing up wearing a yellow coat trying to get a taste of the unique nightlife, she's a certified social Instagram star making waves in what I'm told is the biggest sport in the world.

Who else are they turning away if they're passing out the denial head shake to Diletta?
