Instagram Ladies of Local News - Houston Edition, Bengals Fans Get Tattoos & Tom Brady After Retirement Beers
It's time to get serious about this job title search...we're down to the top five options
Last week, before I went down to Florida, you guys helped me come up with a long list of job titles I should use on social media as part of my role here at OutKick. I've thought long and hard about this, and it's time to make a cut and get down to the top five options.
I didn't take this responsibility lightly. This new title will go right into my social media channels where all the big-time Big Js will see this title and try to figure out what it all means. That's why I wanted this title to have some force. I wanted big executives across the country to stop and think about my power and influence as they're cruising LinkedIn.
I want the college kids out there who think they can do this job to stop and think of the power associated with such a powerful title.
Here are the final five options:
It's a tough call from here because we have a VP going up against a Global Head and two Senior options that scream extreme power and influence on the content game. And I'm not ruling out combining two titles into one because I really like the use of Screencaps Division. It sounds like I'm out on the road managing hundreds of employees while taking long lunches and eight vacations a year to locations where the weather stays 83 and sunny.
No matter what, these titles are sure to be a hit. I can see the DMs right now from college kids looking for a chance to chase dreams as a junior member of the Screencaps Division.
Are there any human resource experts out there who could analyze these final five options for me? I need a professional to walk me through which one will be best for my career moving forward.

Good Evening.
Part of Tom Brady’s retirement statement:
“I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”
Could that be translated as ‘my wife said it’s time to come home’? How many guys out there have been in softball leagues, golf leagues, bowling leagues, dart leagues, multiple fantasy football leagues when all of sudden they have ‘the talk’ with their wife and they too all of a sudden are taking the ‘retirement tour’ in the leagues they are involved with?

I definitely think Tom and Gisele had the talk. Brady indicated on his podcast that it was hard on the family to be so disconnected for so many months out of the year, especially when his oldest is 14 and the two kids with Gisele are 12 & 9. Plus, you add in the fact that Tommy fulfilled his contract with the Bucs, and you have all the ingredients for 'the talk.'
My question is what now for Brady? Does he create his own Manning cast show that can be done in his house and sold off to the highest bidder? Does Brady buy a sportfishing boat like Michael Jordan?
Does he become a Bourbon Bro?
Yes, I believe Gisele graciously told Tom that he has her support 100%, but if it was her call, she'd love to have him home so they can get on with the rest of their lives. He retires without some catastrophic injury and a really great two-year run in Tampa.
Once again, Tom Brady wins in the end.

Hey Joe. Lots I want to write about, but on a quick break at work. Really just want to float the idea of getting that Bengal fan (courtesy of WLWT) you showed celebrating the win something. That got to me pretty good. Lord only knows the stuff he goes through on a daily basis. Any ideas? Get him to meet the team or something. That's the type of video I wish the whole world could see. Thanks again for bringing us all joy.

I don't think Marty has anything to worry about here. One of the great things about the Internet is that, even without all the sludge and garbage associated with it, bright spots like this young man celebrating such a monumental win make their way through the right channels and good comes out of it.
If nothing else comes out of this moment, at least Bryce has bragging rights in his house.

Joe,
As a long suffering Georgia fan, I understand & appreciate the sense of euphoria & anticipation you must be feeling for your Bengals as the Super Bowl approaches. While they're obviously slight underdogs to the Rams, maybe the past year of championship drought-breaking offers a glimmer of hope that they can finally get that elusive championship this year:
April 2021- Baylor wins the first men's basketball national championship in program history
July 2021- Milwaukee wins its first NBA championship in 50 years
November 2021- Atlanta wins its first World Series in 26 years
January 2022- Georgia wins its first college football national championship in 41 years
I mean, major title droughts are being broken all over the place right now, so why not in the Super Bowl? And yes, I know the Rams are looking to break a long drought themselves, trying to win their first Super Bowl in 22 years, but the Bengals are looking to win their first one ever. That trumps the Rams, and may portend a happy ending to this storybook season next Sunday in LA.

Arthur, I sure hope you're right about this. I went into the playoffs just hoping for the playoff-win drought to end, and now here I am with this chance to see a Super Bowl win and a World Series victory (1990) out of my Cincinnati teams. Keeping the faith, Arthur.

• Ohio Snowpocalypse update:
It's still raining. The top weather dogs in town said the change from rain to snow was supposed to start at around 7. Folks, it's 40 degrees at my house. This could be an all-time weather miss by the local blowhards who've been busy freaking out the old people for the last five days.

Here in middle Tennessee, the standing joke (or more realistically, the standard operating procedure) is that people rush to the store in advance of a winter storm and load up on bread and milk.
Whatever.
If I am going to be trapped inside my house for several days, I am going to make certain I have plenty of beer and toilet paper.

A quick scroll through my FB shows a fairly large correlation between panic shopping and liberals. Common denominator: The News.

I get stocking up on fuel for generators, bread and peanut butter if the power goes out and you have to throw all your groceries into a snow cooler. But someone needs to explain to me people buying groceries like they're going to be stuck in their houses for a week as if they live in some remote region of Alaska.
Explain that mindset to me, especially here in this part of Ohio where it's suburbanites acting this way.
