From Olivia Dunne To Tyra Banks, SI Takes Us On A Trip Down Swimsuit Lane On International Women's Day

Sports Illustrated – what's left of it, anyways – spent International Women's Day honoring a couple classics from the outlet's famed swimsuit collection.

And hey, I have some great news for you: they're all biological females! Not all great, but at least they're all actual females.

Baby steps, I reckon.

Anyway, the once-great magazine has pumped out some absolute heaters on its swimsuit covers over the years, including recently with someone named Olivia Dunne.

Ever heard of her? No?

Well how about … Martha Stewart?! Now we're talking.

Both of those women, along with a few others you may recognize, were celebrated just this afternoon by the outlet's official Instagram page.

Let's all take a Friday trip down memory lane:

Sports Illustrated celebrates our great women on International Women's Day

How about SI coming out of the gates FIRING with a little Tyra Banks? Didn't see that coming today, but we're here for it.

As you scroll from left to right on your laptop or mobile device, you then run into tennis star Naomi Osaka, which is part of a theme here. Scroll a little further down, and you'll run into old pal Serena Williams.

Along the way, of course, you have to first get through USA-hating Megan Rapinoe, which certainly dampens the mood. Oh well. I get it. You have to check all the boxes.

Luckily, we then get pulled right back in with model Ashley Graham, country music star Beyonce, and, of course, Olivia Dunne.

Livvy is the newest of all the honorees here, but you had to include her. Strike when the iron's hot, they say.

From the rook to the senior class, we end the trip with 75-year-old Maye Musk – that would be Elon's mom for those wondering – and 82-year-old Martha Stewart.

What a ride. What a way to start a big weekend in early-March.

Happy International Women's Day to all.
