One Of The Worst Movies Ever Made Is Getting A Sequel
Apparently, nobody involved with "Five Nights at Freddy's" learned their lesson after the first movie.
The original film with Josh Hutcherson centered around a guy taking a security job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and the animatronics go on a spree of violence.
I'm not kidding or exaggerating one bit when I say it might be the worst movie ever made. Following its release, I suggested everyone who bought a ticket their money back.
I was fortunate enough to simply stream it on Peacock, but that hardly numbed the pain of wasting my time. Well, buckle up because there's apparently more on the way!
"Five Nights at Freddy's" sequel reportedly being made.
The Film & Television Industry Alliance lists a July 1, 2024 production start date in New Orleans for "Five Nights at Freddy’s 2," and an IMDb page has also been created for the second film.
So far, only Matthew Lillard and Piper Rubio are listed in the cast on the film's IMDB page, but Josh Hutcherson previously indicated he'll also return.
They're really putting the band back together for a sequel to an unwatchable trash film.

Who is asking for a new "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie? I most certainly am not, and I find it hard to believe many others are as well.
The first one dropped a great trailer and looked intriguing. In reality, it was an unwatchable joke and an insult to the audience. The film is about killer animatronics.
That should be impossible to mess up, but that's exactly what happened with the original. Now, instead of pivoting to stuff people might actually want to see, a sequel to a terrible movie is being made.
Why not pour resources into an original story that doesn't follow a truly horrific movie? Nope. I guess that would just be too easy. Do not waste your time with the original. Don't do it, and I'm sure we'll be able to say the same about the sequel. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you burned up your time with the original.
