Chiefs WR Justyn Ross Arrested Less Than A Day After Win Over Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday, potentially facing a felony domestic violence charge. Ross' arrest comes 24 hours after the Chiefs hosted the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium. The reigning Super Bowl champs defeated the Chargers, 31-17.

Authorities arrested the second-year wideout Monday afternoon in Shawnee, Kansas, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.

Ross was arrested and booked by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office around 2:54 p.m. (CDT). Additional reporting confirmed that Ross was arrested on suspicion of criminal property damage in excess of $25,000. The Chiefs are aware of Ross' arrest but have not provided comment as of current reporting.

A court date is set for Tuesday.
