Brittany Brees Reveals List Of Drew's Injuries

New Orleans media members who have access to Brittany Brees' Instagram account are reporting that Drew's wife has revealed her husband was playing with more than just 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung during the 2020 season.

According to WWL's Andrew Doak, those injuries include:

- Torn rotator cuff

- Torn fascia in foot

- 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung

This should clear up why Brees didn't attempt a single pass of more than 20 yards during Sunday's playoff loss to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The 2020 stats don't lie. Drew had 2,332 intended air yards, which measures air yards on all pass attempts, whether completed or incomplete. Only Andy Dalton and Nick Mullens had fewer intended air yards with 200-plus pass attempts. Brees averaged a league-worst six intended air yards per pass attempt among those quarterbacks with six or more starts.

According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Sunday's loss was it for Brees. Glazer reported that no matter what happened Sunday against Tampa, it would be Brees' final game in the Superdome. Now the NFL world awaits Drew's retirement announcement.
