ProFootballDoc: MNF Features Top Teams Of The NFC West

Sunday's five selections, which rely only on injury inequities, finished 4-1 against the spread for a cumulative season record of 38-31-1.

The Falcons won outright as the road dog over the Panthers. The Cowboys made good on their head coaches guarantee and covered on the road. The Saints -- with Taysom Hill's mallet finger paired the return of Alvin Kamara -- handled the Jets easily. Broncos were an easy victor over Detroit, who were dealing with COVID and the flu. We took Jacksonville as the healthier side, even with the turmoil. That is the only game that did not pay off as the Titans didn't score much, but the defense did pitch a shutout.

Monday Night Football showcases a NFC West showdown of the two top teams.

ARIZONA -2.5 vs L.A. RAMS

Both teams are relatively healthy but the Rams are dropping while the Cardinals are on the rise and hold a five point SIC score advantage.

The Rams have had a small COVID outbreak that claims Darrell Henderson (who might not have been 100% anyways with the quad) and affects their right tackle as well as cornerback depth. Sony Michel will have to shoulder the load behind an offensive line with two starters missing as center Brian Allen will likely miss with a knee issue.

The Cardinals are getting healthier with Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins at full speed and running back Chase Edmunds possibly returning. Left guard Justin Pugh is dealing with a calf issue. On the defensive side, DE J.J. Watt and NT Rashard Lawrence are on IR.

Arizona seems to be back on track while the Rams are still trying to acclimate Odell Beckham Jr. to step up for elite wideout Robert Woods.

We look forward to a great matchup where health seems to favor the home team Cardinals. Go to profootballdoc.com for all of your injury questions.
