ProFootballDoc: Lots of Actionable Injury Issues for NFL Week 14

This week the health issues are plentiful with some significant SIC score mismatches. use the info at the revamped and improved www.profootballdoc.com to assist in your wagering/DFS/fantasy decision. The against the spread record on the season is 34-30-1. https://www.outkick.com/profootballdoc-top-actionable-injury-issues-for-nfl-week-13/

SIC Score is our proprietary numerical injury grading system that incorporates the health of every NFL team and individual players to give sports bettors, DFS players and fantasy owners an edge each week during the season. While it purposely doesn’t take into account coaching, schemes or matchups, SIC Scores give an accurate assessment of team/player overall health heading into a game.

At this late point in the season we place more importance on direction of the team SIC scores as opposed to the number itself as certainly lines incorporate the season long poor play due to injury. Here are the top five and honorable mention bonuses as well all using FanDuel current lines.

ATLANTA +2.5 @ CAROLINA

The Panthers are the biggest team overall SIC score drop of the week falling 12.7 due to four out of five offensive line starters affected. The offense has a very low sub-50 SIC score and is coming off a bye where the offensive coordinator was fired. The Falcons have not been a great team this year but they are essentially healthy but do miss Calvin Ridley.

DALLAS -6.5 @ WASHINGTON

I don't love a head coach guaranteeing victory and giving a divisional opponent bulletin board material but the Cowboys are on the rise in terms of health and are 20 SIC score points healthier even if Tony Pollard misses. Dallas returns key defensive linemen as Washington already without Chase Young, lose more. The Cowboys should field all their starters for the first time. Perhaps that is behind the "guarantee".

NEW ORLEANS -5.5 @ N.Y. JETS

The Saints are this week's biggest overall riser in health and the face a Jets team with all but one skill position affected by injury. The defense has been injured all season and might be without key player C.J. Mosley today too. New Orleans returns a healthy Alvin Kamara but Taysom Hill may have accuracy issues with his mallet finger but his legs are strong.

JACKSONVILLE +8.5 @ TENNESSEE

The is turmoil in Jacksonville with the head coach but we assume that is factored into the line. What might not be is the health of the Jaguars defense facing the Titans without their two biggest offensive weapons in Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown although Julio Jones returns (but not 100%). No one is calling for an upset but have to figure on a one score game.

DENVER -11.5 vs DETROIT

Last week, the Lions were our strongest play and we even foreshadowed their first win. https://www.outkick.com/profootballdoc-top-actionable-injury-issues-for-nfl-week-13/ This week we lean towards laying the double digit points. Detroit is ravage by illness and COVID where they needed six practice squad call ups just to fill out their active roster. The Broncos are on the rise in terms of overall health due to improvements on the offensive line and defense.

The four honorable mentions are:

KANSAS CITY -9 vs LAS VEGAS

CINCINNATI +2 vs SAN FRANCISCO

CLEVELAND -2.5 vs BALTIMORE

L.A. CHARGERS -9 vs N.Y. GIANTS
