Ready for the United States to return to pre-COVID normalcy? You’re going to be waiting a while, according to President Joe Biden, who made the bold prediction Monday that the country wouldn’t see a return to normalcy until 97-98% of Americans are vaccinated. His remarks came as the COVID booster shot was being blasted into his shoulder.
“I think we’ll get awful close,” Biden told reporters. “But I’m not the scientist. I think one thing is for certain: a quarter of the country can’t go unvaccinated and us not continue to have a problem.”
REPORTER: "How many Americans need to be vaccinated for us to get back to normal?"

Do you actually think even if the U.S. hit 97% or 98% the Democrats would be in the mood to let the COVID-era fade off into the history books when this period of time of government spending via expanded “safety nets” has been described as “This Generation’s New Deal“?
Fauci told Wolf Blitzer in September 2020 that it might take a year to return to pre-COVID normal, but made sure to tell citizens they’d be wearing masks and social distancing for a long time.
"We are still in the middle of this," says Dr. Anthony Fauci, warning it may be at least a year before life in the US returns to pre-Covid-19 normal.
He adds that social distancing and mask wearing must continue "as long as you have active infection in the community." pic.twitter.com/2ce1jXeU7U

Then, on Mother’s Day weekend this year, Fauci moved his return to normal target date to Mother’s Day 2022 — with conditions! Fauci noted that was on one condition — an overwhelming proportion of citizens had to be vaccinated. That same day, Fauci told Meet the Press that wearing masks could become a seasonal thing for Americans.
“It is conceivable that as we go on, a year or two or more from now, that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory-borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll spread these respiratory-borne diseases,” Fauci said.

As Clay noted last week on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Biden’s infatuation with this crazy, unattainable vaccination rate should just be ignored and people should get back to living their lives.
“The facts and the data are clear. But we still have the Biden administration, which has been 60 or 90 days behind the data, being unwilling to address the American public honestly,” Clay told Tucker.
“If you look at Israel and England, two countries that are far more vaccinated than we are, they are setting hospitalization records and case records, even now. So this idea that if we had 100 percent of the country vaccinated, COVID would go away, is just not true.
“The Biden administration has been lying to us, and nobody is willing to point this out.”
In other words, it’s up to us to ignore the government and go on living.

“What can we do to win against this COVID insanity? I think every single person needs to live their life 100 percent normal. And I think the American public is becoming aware that COVID’s never going to disappear. This zero COVID infatuation is a lie; it’s never going to happen.
“It’s going to become an endemic virus that is with us for the rest of our lives, and at some point as Americans we have to make the decision to live our lives without fear.”
