‘Aladdin’ Now Has A Warning Screen On Disney+

After Mr. Potato Head survived by a thread and liberal white men working at Disneyland saved black women from the horrors of Splash Mountain–now Aladdin is racist.

So much so that Disney+ added a warning label before the film starts.

“This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures. These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversations to create a more inclusive future together.”

And here’s where it gets funny.

“Disney is committed to creating stories with inspirational and aspirational themes that reflect the rich diversity of the human experience around the globe. To learn more about how stories have impacted society visit Disney.com/storiesmatter”

When did Disney become educational?

First off, when did Disney suddenly become a Civil Rights movement? We coulda sworn we went to Disneyland and waited in line for two hours to be entertained–not for an “education.”

But maybe that’s the issue that Disney and other major corporations can’t seem to understand. They’re suddenly switching lanes (without putting on their signal, I should add) and trying to educate when they should just be creating a fun environment. Disney+ wants to say they’re focused on inspirational themes while half the children in Disney films have dead parents.

It’s either that or the children are rebelling against authority.

I can’t wait until Disney finally puts a warning label on their films portraying marriage like the fantasy that it’s never been. Think that’ll ever happen with divorce rates higher than ever? Yeah, probably not because that message doesn’t help them pander.

Here’s the bottom line

Providing warning labels to minorities like myself does nothing to protect or encourage us in society. As a matter of fact, it only makes us feel like we should start becoming filmmakers and replace those who have anointed themselves as our leaders. They’re unqualified, and it’s time for minorities in this country to start ignoring these major corporations that stunt double as our parents.

Disney+ should be a dying brand–just like the Grammys. It’s a complete waste of time for our children who will eventually become whining Disney adults. Save America from this foolishness before it’s too late.

Besides from what I vaguely remember about Aladdin was he was a poor theif (or street rat for the non PC types) who befriended an enslaved genie and found a magic carpet ride in order to overcome evil Jafar, win the affection of a bra wearing princess, and became the king of Arabia or something. If anything it highlighted overcoming a class struggle but I guess Marxism has mutated to race and gender now.

    • That, and the story is loosely rooted in One Thousand and One Arabian Nights, a collection of Middle Easter folk tales. But its good that Disney is protecting the world from what they have deemed racist Middle Eastern tropes… invented by none other than people from the Middle East.

  2. Just so we’re clear, Disney made Aladdin. Disney is the only media outlet who can show Aladdin. But now Disney is offended by its own creation, so it slaps a warning on Aladdin. But they will not stop playing Aladdin.

    Guess Disney isn’t that offended after all. Otherwise they wouldn’t seek to continue to make money off of their offensive, racist creation. Yet, they and their media family, (like ESPN) are always the first in line seeking to cancel anything that remotely upsets them.

    This is pretty much the progressive movement in a nutshell.

  3. I am cynical by nature. The Disney drama kicked into higher gear after we saw Dr. Seuss books go from being $5 to $500. Makes me think Disney is putting warnings out there so people buy their movies before they go back to “retiring” movies for a year or two to create demand curves for their products.

  4. Prior to all their films, and outside all their theme parks, Disney should display this disclaimer:

    “Disney once made programming for children which, while entertaining millions of viewers of all ages, also brought diverse cultures and races together. Today, Disney’s new content, as well as all its properties, now pushes a radical, left-wing agenda harmful to children and the nuclear family. Disney also puts silly, PC warning labels before much of its back catalog of films. Please disregard such warnings…and better yet, don’t give Disney another dime of your money”.

  5. Gary-I have to say I really look forward to your posts; you have extremely interesting, independent and logically defensible takes on a variety of subjects. All I can say is, like lightning, beware of the cancel culture mob-you are sharp with a mind of your own and as you become better known I am afraid you will become a target. Hang tough

  6. You know, I actually don’t mind this in one respect for now; it gives the reactionary, mob something to point at as evidence they are doing “something” to educate. The rest of us can FF through that crap, chuckle at it and enjoy the show. Ultimately, crap like this needs to earn a place for my time and effort based on the marketplace, but until the culture gets steered back toward truth and Capitalism, I can tolerate this silliness. It actually proves how desperate the Neo-Marxists movement is becoming; they cannot win an open, honest debate; they must invoke feelings of collective anger and mistrust to win short term victories.
