911 Call About Malik McDowell's Naked Journey Paints Frantic Picture

Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Malik McDowell was arrested Monday while naked near a school, and the 911 call before officers arrived reveals a woman frantically directing children into lockdown.

Officers responded to a report of a naked man walking near a school in Deerfield Beach, Florida — later determined to be a children’s learning center that was in session — according to the police report obtained by OutKick on Tuesday.

McDowell was arrested charged with public exposure, aggravated battery of an officer and resisting arrest, according to Broward County court records.

TMZ Sports obtained the 911 call audio on Tuesday, and the outlet reports a female can be heard telling dispatch there is a male "naked walking the premises."

"You're going to go into lockdown," the woman can be heard saying on the call. "You're going to have to take these kids into the bathroom, OK? Yes. One by one."

The woman then told dispatch McDowell was "out front." TMZ Sports reports the call is redacted, so it's unclear where the woman is exactly, but it appears she's calling from the school McDowell walked near before his Monday arrest.

"He's just walking up and down in front of the building," she added ... "He's completely naked."

The outlet reports that at another point during the call to 911, the woman can be heard trying — again — to get the kids into a form of lockdown.

"Whitney, help them get into their safe places!" she said.

TMZ Sports reports two other callers also urged authorities to get to the scene, describing the male — now identified as McDowell — as fully nude.

The affidavit for McDowell’s arrest obtained by OutKick on Tuesday can be read here.
