Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Malik McDowell was arrested Monday on charges of public exposure, aggravated battery of an officer and resisting arrest, according to Broward County court records.
According to the police report first obtained by the South Florida Sun Sentinel, officers were responding to a report of a naked man walking near a school in Deerfield Beach, Florida — later to be determined as a children’s learning center that was in session.
The incident report states that when officers arrived, McDowell allegedly beat a deputy in a “violent attack” that left the officer “dazed.”
The report says McDowell charged at police “full speed with a closed fist,” leaving a deputy injured, before trying to flee but was eventually was shocked with a Taser and handcuffed.
McDowell is being held on a $27,000 bond, according to the jail’s inmate search at the time of publication.
“We are aware of the very concerning incident and arrest involving Malik McDowell and are in the process of gathering more information,” the Browns said in a statement. “We understand the severity of this matter and our thoughts are for the well-being of all involved. We will have no further comment at this time.”
The 25-year-old is currently listed as an inmate of the jail but has a bond that appears to be pending after court hearings, per his inmate search.

Didn’t the officer have a gun? dude is almost 300 lbs 6,6 naked prime Glock material right there
Haha that’s what I thought too. I don’t want any naked man anywhere near me but especially one that is much bigger than I am. Aim for the balls.
I think we all know why the officer didn’t shoot.
When a 6’6” 300lb NFL player is walking around out of his mind naked in public, and I had to be the one to apprehend him…let’s just say I’d be thankful he only wanted to “fight”.
Just seen the video of this fool charging the cop he is very lucky he wasn’t shot the cop had plenty of time but basically just stood there very lucky
